Why is that so? There's a legend behind the name of the city. But in shortly, the name of Banyuwangi is from 2 words, Banyu ( means: water ) and Wangi ( means: fragrance ), there's a love story behind it. In literally, Banyuwangi is fragrance water. Dieng Plateau is formed by volcanic eruptions around Java Province, which has height 2.093 meters above sea level, located in two districts are Wonosobo and Banjarnegara, central Java Province. Dieng Plateau has a lot of nature resource especially on agriculture. This place offers cool air, beautiful mountains, charming natural lakes, sunrise and sunset, even the culture. It attracts a lot of tourists to visit this place.  The name of Dieng has a meaning that 'diyang or dhiyang' is the place where Gods dwell. The unique thing from this place that normal temperature on noon is 12 - 17 C degrees, even on summer season, the temperature could below zero C degrees so that produce snow around plateau.
