Mount Gede is a part of Gede Pangrango National Park. This park offers unique flowers and many rare animals you may not see in another place. Patuha comes from the word "pak tua (old man)". Mount Patuha is located in South Bandung (capital city in West Java), which offers the best attraction and well-known by domestic and International tourist is that White Crater. In the past, the residents had neutralized that area. It is because no bird or any animal dared to cross above the crater. Even if there was, the bird died.
But the speculation was revealed to the truth by Dr. Franz Wilhelm Junghunh, the German-Dutch blooded expert discovered that White Crater contains sulfur gases and so on that smelled strongly.
